First Three-month Reporting Shows Port of Las Palmas continues to grow post-covid

According to the Port Authority – Port of Las Palmas comparisons for January-March 2022 and 2019 (balanced comparison, free of covid-induced world shipping distortions in 2020), total traffic increased by 12.72. percent. In addition, passenger traffic on regular lines increased by 7.98 percent; tons of goods grew by 13.59 percent; frozen fish – 31.33 percent; bunkering increased by 4.18%; TEU rose by 14.51%; and ro-ro added 2.38% in units and 2.38% in tons.
